“Ghana is open for business”, President John Mahama invites foreign investors to assist his government in enhancing the growth of the nation.
According to him, he is poised to push the country forward stating he is fully committed to “taking every necessary step to reset our economy, getting things back on track and working with the good people of our country to build the Ghana we want”.
As part of his economic policy for growth, the President established his focus is on export diversification, foreign investment and job creation.
“Ghana is open for business. Our policy on economic diplomacy focuses on export diversification, foreign investment and job creation. A new blueprint and delivery unit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with clear performance indicators will be launched soon to ensure foreigh engagements yield tangible benefits for our people”, he expounded.
President Mahama made this emphatic during his State of the Nation Address in Parliament on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
