The newly appointed Economic Policy Adviser to the Office of the Vice-President, Dr. Sharif Mahmud Khalid, has assured that they will work earnestly to deliver the reset agenda and bring prosperity to Ghanaians.
He thanked President John Dramani Mahama and Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, for appointing him to serve in the administration.
In a post on his X page, he said “Our focus is to ensure that your tenure as the first woman to serve as Vice-President of our beloved Ghana is the best the country has ever seen.
“With that commitment, we are dedicated to this cause—working earnestly to deliver the reset agenda and bring prosperity to Ghanaians.”

Prior to his appointment, Dr. Sharif Mahmud Khalid was an associate professor of accounting and finance at Queen’s University Belfast. He also held the position of Associate Professor in Accounting and Financial Management at the University of Sheffield.
